Cortisol and Stress - The Link Between Them

  • Improve your sleep. You might find that adding melatonin to your diet will help you improve the sleep you have at night. What you will want to be sure of is that you find natural solutions for this. In no time, you will be sleeping harder and longer. Just be sure you follow the directions on the bottle, in some cases these items will require a couple of weeks to build up in your body to help you sleep better.

  • Make sure you exercise. A common problem people make is letting their body go. When fat begins to build up, so does the anxiety and stress in your body. When you work out, these symptoms reduce and you will find that you are feeling better in the process as the exercise naturally reduces your Cortisol levels. Of course, before you begin any exercise routine, you will want to be sure it is safe with your doctor.
